Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Polaris ("we", "us", "our") builds AI software and services for semiconductor design and verification teams. This policy explains what data we collect, what we don't, and how we handle it.

What We Collect

When you engage with Polaris, we collect the following data:

  • Account information: Email address, name, and organization provided during signup or design-partner onboarding.
  • Project materials you share with us: HDL source, related design files, workflow notes, and supporting materials that design partners explicitly provide during an engagement.
  • Platform outputs: Work products, analysis outputs, notes, and related artifacts generated while supporting your team.
  • Operational metadata: Run identifiers, timestamps, tool versions, and resource usage needed to operate Polaris and support you.

What We Don't Collect

  • We do not collect RTL or design artifacts you have not explicitly shared with us.
  • We do not track browsing history, keystrokes, or screen contents.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
  • We do not use customer project materials for public marketing or benchmark claims without explicit permission. Aggregated, de-identified operational signals may be used to improve reliability.

How We Use Your Data

  • Product operation: Materials you share are processed so Polaris can support the workflow or engagement you requested.
  • Reporting back to you: Outputs are returned to your team so engineers can act on them inside the engagement.
  • Support: Operational metadata is used to debug runs and provide direct support to design partners.
  • Product improvement: Aggregated, de-identified signals help us improve Polaris's reliability and workflow fit.

Data Storage and Security

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
  • API keys are hashed with SHA-256 before storage — we never store plaintext keys.
  • Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure hosted in the United States.
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel with multi-factor authentication.

Data Retention

RTL artifacts and analysis results are retained for the duration of the design-partner engagement and deleted on request or at the end of the engagement. Account information is retained for the duration of your account. You can request full data deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated RTL, analysis results, and metadata.
  • Withdraw RTL from analysis at any time by contacting us.
  • End your engagement with Polaris and have associated data purged.
